What is Proviron?
Proviron, known chemically as Mesterolone, is an orally active androgenic steroid often used in the bodybuilding community. Unlike many anabolic steroids, Proviron doesn’t promote significant muscle growth but is valued for other properties. It’s known for its ability to increase free testosterone by binding to sex-hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), enhancing the overall anabolic effect of other steroids used in a stack. Proviron is also favored for its anti-estrogenic properties, helping reduce estrogen levels and the risk of estrogen-related side effects. It’s often used during cutting cycles to aid in hardening and sharpening muscle definition, as well as during bulking cycles to mitigate the side effects of other steroids. Additionally, Proviron can improve libido and mood, which can be adversely affected by other steroids.
